Regal and brave yet gentle, this friendly dog has its own opinions. A noble breed with lineage dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), the Pekingese was regarded as holy in China and could only be owned by members of the royal family. Ideal for apartment living, it enjoys physical activity but prefers shorter strolls. Smart and unyielding, it is a devoted friend but may pose challenges during training.
